<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>黃氏論胃氣不降，專主因寒一面，蓋有所感觸而言也。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>曾有一少婦，上焦煩熱，不能飲食，頻頻咳吐，皆系稀涎，脈象弦細無力。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>知系脾胃濕寒，不能運化飲食下行，致成留飲為恙也。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>詢其得病之初，言偶因咳嗽懶食，延本處名醫投以栝蔞、貝母、麥冬之類，旋愈旋即反複，服藥月餘竟至如此。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>遂為開苓桂朮甘湯，加乾薑、半夏（細觀理飲湯後跋語自知），且細為剖析用藥之意。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>及愚旋裡，其藥竟不敢服，複請前醫治之，月餘而亡。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>夫世之所謂名醫者，其用藥大抵如此，何不讀黃氏之論，而反躬自省也哉﹗</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>門人高××實驗一方︰赭石、滑石等分研細，熱時新汲井泉水送服，冷時開水送服，一兩或至二兩，治吐衄之因熱者甚效。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>高××又在保陽，治一吐血証甚劇者，諸藥皆不效，診其脈浮而洪，至數微數，重按不實。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG><FONT size=4>初投以拙擬保元寒降湯，稍見效，旋又反複。高××遂放膽投以赭石二兩、台參六錢、生杭芍一兩，一劑而愈。</FONT></STRONG></P>
